I used to live a few block from Obama. But I can't afford Hawaii.

          (1) Yes, I am retiring
          (2) It's very inexpensive to live in the Philippines.
          (3) Since my twenties, I've been saving my money. I have a couple of IRAs, a whole-life life insurance policy which I can morph into an annunity, and I have dough squirrelled away in the bank.
I'd love to go myself, but life is different now!

          Hope you have a blast.

Evidently. NGR knows little about firearms. Being shot with a .22 could definitely rain on your parade.

Evidently you know little about proper punctuation use. And they should kick you out of Texas for claiming a .22 is anything other than a glorified toy. I shoot .357 and .44 Mags when I'm back home, like a real man.

For most of my life, everything I owned could fit in the trunk of my car... then I got rid of my car too. I always figured if I had something that I wasn't using regularly, it was wasteful. So I'd give it away ASAP to someone who would actually use it.

Now I'm pretty sure that that life is gone for good. The 2/3rds of a hectare that I bought in January would be difficult to fit in the trunk of even the most spacious of automobiles.

If you still want it, you're not doing it right.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

That stuff is so extortionately priced that it might be worth having a whirl with it on eBay.

I hear .22's can do a lot of damage. A lot of people die from them, but that might be because there are so many of them.

As for stuff at one point (in the navy) everything I owned could fit in my car. Those days are long gone. Actually in boot camp, everything I owned could fit in my lockers . I usually do a spring cleaning of sorts when I move. But I haven't moved in over 8 years. I'm hoping to buy a house later this year, however. I'm not looking forward to the move though. .
