Look, I readily admit to having no balls. But I think the idea that I need to spruce up the way I look to get a chick is silly. I've just seen too much evidence to the contrary. It's not like I'm upset some guys on an internet forum don't think I'm particularly attractive. I am fully aware of my level of physical attractiveness.

which is really a "no ****" statement b/c if you didn't find her interesting in other areas you wouldn't be wringing your hands like you have been. It'd have been either "she's out of my league" or you'd have a DF "shut up and let me **** you, I don't care what you think" moment.

You're right, but in that case you need a blazing amount of confidence. I mean blazing in that other people notice just from being around you. Since it's not showing in your posts, sprucing is your best alternative.

Considering you prefaced this with "will i bang this chick?" followed by lame excuses for not doing so, it's not hard to see.

Oh and btw, sex attraction isn't just about body parts. A close match in intelligence is a requirement. You don't bang the dumb girl b/c (surprise!) you're not attracted to her lack of intelligence.

Finally I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of guys here weren't in your shoes when they were younger. They, like me, got over it. Which is another reason why we know what you're going thru.

Err, my lame excuse for not banging her is that I lacked the balls to make a move. That's all there is to it. Also, there's the possibility that she doesn't want me to bang her.

Yeah, but honest != right. You're all being honest from the perspective of your aggregate experiences and biases, and I have little reason to believe that those will apply to me. Which is why there are a select few people on this site I do take advice from.

But mostly I get advice from the people I know intimately in real life, since I trust their evaluations of my behavior and actions, and further trust them to be honest with me. There are certain friends I do not seek advice from, because I don't actually trust them to do anything more than tell me what I want to hear.

If the advice your close friends are giving you is different than what multiple people - most of whom consistently disagree with each other on every other subject imaginable - here are giving you, then yes, their advice is in fact less accurate than ours.
