Look, I readily admit to having no balls. But I think the idea that I need to spruce up the way I look to get a chick is silly. I've just seen too much evidence to the contrary. It's not like I'm upset some guys on an internet forum don't think I'm particularly attractive. I am fully aware of my level of physical attractiveness.Originally posted by KrazyHorse View PostOh, Lori. Stop getting defensive.Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.

Regardless of whether or not I ever bang this chick, I want to know her and be friends with her. She's incredibly interesting and smart and all those other positive adjectives.
which is really a "no ****" statement b/c if you didn't find her interesting in other areas you wouldn't be wringing your hands like you have been. It'd have been either "she's out of my league" or you'd have a DF "shut up and let me **** you, I don't care what you think" moment.
I was doing you a favor by shooting down another of your lame excuses. And we're all being honest here b/c really whether you succeed or not doesn't affect us. At all. It's your life, dude.I'm consitently stupid- Japher
I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

You're right, but in that case you need a blazing amount of confidence. I mean blazing in that other people notice just from being around you. Since it's not showing in your posts, sprucing is your best alternative.Originally posted by Lorizael View PostBut I think the idea that I need to spruce up the way I look to get a chick is silly. and if this statement doesn't need further evidence, there ought to be a few of the old 'hot or not' threads somewhere in the archives.Originally posted by Theben View PostConsidering you prefaced this with "will i bang this chick?" followed by lame excuses for not doing so, it's not hard to see.
Oh and btw, sex attraction isn't just about body parts. A close match in intelligence is a requirement. You don't bang the dumb girl b/c (surprise!) you're not attracted to her lack of intelligence.
Finally I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of guys here weren't in your shoes when they were younger. They, like me, got over it. Which is another reason why we know what you're going thru.
Your turn to change.

Err, my lame excuse for not banging her is that I lacked the balls to make a move. That's all there is to it. Also, there's the possibility that she doesn't want me to bang her.I was doing you a favor by shooting down another of your lame excuses.
Yeah, but honest != right. You're all being honest from the perspective of your aggregate experiences and biases, and I have little reason to believe that those will apply to me. Which is why there are a select few people on this site I do take advice from. And we're all being honest here b/c really whether you succeed or not doesn't affect us. At all. It's your life, dude.
But mostly I get advice from the people I know intimately in real life, since I trust their evaluations of my behavior and actions, and further trust them to be honest with me. There are certain friends I do not seek advice from, because I don't actually trust them to do anything more than tell me what I want to hear.Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.

The funny part here is I'm not even sure why you all are arguing with me. I never suggested that I didn't know why I haven't ****ed this chick.Last edited by Lorizael; March 23, 2009, 17:54.Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.

Sure, but your advice that I should be less douchebag-like was better than your advice that I need to change the way I look.Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.

If the advice your close friends are giving you is different than what multiple people - most of whom consistently disagree with each other on every other subject imaginable - here are giving you, then yes, their advice is in fact less accurate than ours. What, your closest friends' advice isn't more accurate than random advice you get online?Follow me on Twitter: http://twitter.com/DaveDaDouche
