AC, that may have been part of the plot design -- the whole setup is surreal. But in one little spot he sums it up for a young lady in a bar that life is a series of choices, and where you are is the result of those choices and basically no other factor. My sig is his sum up line. (Needless to say I like the bizzare and surreal as they make us think about the common hallucination of reality as we dream it.)

clearly, I did not say that indoors had a more intellectual air.

I don't see why it matters that they are 'enclosed'. You can have perfectly good outdoor displays.
I understand that Da Shi means that the museums and the galleries have a more intellectual air, but they don't have it because they are enclosed.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

It was very clearly meant to discern between institutions where people voluntarily enter and only see the displays with wanting to see the displays in mind. They're enclosed as in, they're not something you can see without wanting or being prepared to see it. It has nothing to do with inside vs outside, and everything to do with attitude and willingness versus emotionally raping people with graphic displays they're not prepared to see nor want to see while they're trying to get an education they paid for."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. His arguments have been dismantled down to the atomic level. There's no one in the world who looks like a bigger fool. We've got nothing left, Ming.
At this point, Ben is just spamming. Are you actually reading what he's writing? Somebody needs to knock some sense into that boy and I'm not willing to foot the bill to fly to San Antonio.
Besides, he's got a thick skin. He wants to show people pictures of dismembered toddlers, so he can take the abuse he gets for doing that."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

This is the statment I was contesting. I agree with the second, that people ought to have warning before the display. Now, I have seen letters out from the University of Calgary, one of which was published, which insists that the display was easy to avoid, and contradicts your point.

Easily avoided
February 7, 2009
University of Calgary pro-life students are being charged with trespassing on their own campus. Sounds a little misguided, doesn't it? Charging these students for putting up a display is a direct violation of our Charter of Rights and Freedoms, which states that we have "freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression." Somehow, the freedom of expression part seems to have escaped university officials' minds.
As a student at the University of Calgary who walked by the display several times, I found it was remarkably easy to avoid. With several routes around it, there was no reason to view the display if a student did not wish to. Even walking straight past it, there was no one forcing me to look and, even if I wanted to look, the large crowds around the display made it hard to view unless I really worked at getting up to the front. The university also posted signs around the display warning students that it was ordered taken down due to potentially disturbing graphic images.
If any student, professor or visitor was disturbed by these images, it was no fault but their own as there was ample warning of the easily avoidable images.
