Gramps: Good on you for making the trip. Hope you are having fun. Let me know if you'd like to meet up for breakfast, lunch, a coffee, or a bloody mary. I'm in Reston, but heading back to Richmond tomorrow.

About Donald Brashear......I didn't actually think there were any blacks in the NHL?
Im not sure what Baruk Khazad is , but if they speak Judeo-Dwarvish, that would be "blessed are the dwarves" - lord of the mark

One of the best players in the league is black (well, half-black), and he's also the captain of the Calgary Flames

There's also the unforgettable Georges Laraque, everybody's favourite enforcer:
"The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."
Ben Kenobi: "That means I'm doing something right. "

Cool! Welcome back to D.C., Gramps! And make sure you get a couple good snaps of the Reflecting Pool, the Jefferson Memorial, the Capitol, and the Lincoln Memorial.

Make sure that your own photo is clear so that you can put it on your PC, load up Fallout 3, take screenshots of the wrecked capital buildings in that game, and then gently photoshop yourself in.

The caption could be "Don't p*ss off a troll, sonny!"

Seriously though, hope you're having a blast! If you get to the Capitol, I used to work pretty near by there. You may still be able to hear the echoes of RONTAP...

Sometime back, we had a discussion on Steakhouses and remember the name Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, well, they had one in Tyson Corner.

We really enjoyed it! The best Calamari I have ever had, with some roasted red peppers in Thai Chili Sauce. I had an order of Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail and the Cowboy Ribeye while Mrs. Troll had the Lamb Chops.

Simply awesome taste, the very first steakhouse I needed no steaksauce for!

Then it was on the the Kennedy Center, Eisenhower Theatre, for the music of Andrew Lloyd Weber.

They performed music from Sunset Blvd,Jesus Christ Superstar,Cats, Phantom of the Opera,Evita to name a few.

I thoroughly enjoyed the singing of Lz Callaway as well as Shoshana, to name a couple.

Very well performed, and very different experience from other venues.

And you pay for it .
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
