Sometime back, we had a discussion on Steakhouses and remember the name Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, well, they had one in Tyson Corner.

We really enjoyed it! The best Calamari I have ever had, with some roasted red peppers in Thai Chili Sauce. I had an order of Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail and the Cowboy Ribeye while Mrs. Troll had the Lamb Chops.

Simply awesome taste, the very first steakhouse I needed no steaksauce for!

And you pay for it .

Imran, fortunatley , I am on a 6 year run as top bottom line man for my company so lets just say all them a-holes I ki$$ed, all them "Get-R-Dun " tasks, that afforded us to lay a LARGE sum out

But yes, expensive.

We are choosing a German restaurant for one night this week, one night we wil go to Benihana's (we ate years ago at the one on Wisconsinson Avenue/Rockvlle Pike/355), this time probably the one near Dulles.

Wednesday Night we will be back at the Kennedy Center for the National Symphony Orchestra, so not sure what we will eat thgat night, maybe do Olive Garden, its on the way to Metro, corner of Leesbyrg Pike and Gallows Rd

Tonight, we ventured off the Metro Rail system and went up the red line to Tenleytown/AU(American University) and rode the bus down Wisconsin Avenue and had some German Cuisine, at Old Europe

I had a Dunkel Beir and Mrs Troll had some wine. I had a sausage sampler, first time I ever had white sausage, soft but not too bad, aong with couple other types sausage for an appetizer.

I had my favorite Deutche Meal, Jaeger Snitzel, Spatezel(SP??) and vegetables (Brocholi,Carrots and Cauliflower) while my sweeties had trout and she said it was very good.

A bit pricey for the portion size, but from what i remembered from being stationed in Crailsheim West Germnay over 30 years ago, the ambiance matched the true Deutche Gausthoff as I could remember.

Yes sir

We run the Orange line each day into DC (To the Smithonian south of Federal)

Th Red Line we change in Metro Center, we found t very easy

We are not sure when, but plan on Benihana possibly in Bethesda (they used to have one up on Wisconsin Avenue 20 years ago) so we will repeat,rinse and run Red Line again a well

The Red Line drops off at under the Best Buy in Tenleytown/AU

Nice weather today, snow showers and high winds

Looking forward to tonight, going to be freaking cold in front of the Kennedy Center...brrrrrr

I used to live 5 minutes walking from Silver Spring. I lived and worked in the same building, which was nice because it cut down my travelling costs, but it was bad when there was a bad weather day and everybody else but me could stay at home >_<

We had a great time ncluding a most pleasant surprise of seeing Apolyton 2009 unveiled, although, admittedly, it was a Gold Shovel for each dignitary and still has some major work to be completed, Progrees has to start somewhere though
