Where did I ever object to Che referring to her as a socialist?Who says he's not. You are the one who are objecting to her being portrayed as a socialist (which is what she was).
That's a fact.
All I objected to is his use of her in his campaign, which is a bit different then saying, Helen Keller is a socialist.
If someone chose to use him as the representative of the Democratic party over say someone like Kennedy and FDR, I would be sincerely curious.But, Ted Kennedy was never the leader of his party. Was never the nominee of his party. You say it is ok to use him... so you concede the point

I can't see her wanting any of what has come out here.
As Che said, it took her 20 years to write her own thoughts and opinions on the issue. That suggests reticence. Keller was a member of the Socialist Party and actively campaigned and wrote in support of the working classes from 1909 to 1921. She supported Socialist Party candidate Eugene V. Debs in each of his campaigns for the presidency.
