  • The point of objectionable racism regardless of its origin is in order to make the originators race superior to the targetted race. In this case, the victimization meme allows feelings of moral superiority and martyrdom, (perfectly sympathetic with much of judeo-christian biblical history) at the expense of the inevitable comeupance of whitey because he is a morally inferior being.

So you think you are qualified to understand what he said better than anyone else?

            • No I am qualified and entitled to my own opinion. Your BS would have anyone not in a very small schism be unable to formuloate an opinion on the matter. What Dog squeeze.

The point being to his audience there was a calculated effort to imply moral superiority over another racial group based upon reasons of race alone.

Even if that were true, and it's not, what does "moral" superiority have to do with anything. I think I'm morally superior to you as a matter of fact. What the hell should you care? In fact, I'm sure you feel the same way about me. That doesn't matter for ****. The fact is that the greed of white people is a problem. That's all that matters.

That's quite different. So you don't think that a congregation understands their preacher better than outsiders do? Strange belief indeed. Have any argument to support that claim?

                        • Why is it greed of white people and not just plain old human greed?

Why the need to racialize the issue when some degree of greed is inherent to all humans, and certainly to anyone with political power, white, black or whatever race/religion/creed.

Seems like an untenable standard to me.

Do you think he approves of greedy black people, or believes that all black people aren't greedy? Come on now. You need to think twice about that. At the least realise that you are jumping to conclusions.

Quite a bit in the case of Obama considering the moral underpinnings of Obama are linked strongly to the man in question. The entirety of the question is whether or not Obama feels one race is morally superior to another. Arguements abound on either side of the equation defending or refuting the assertion.

Funny in my congregation it normally is refered to as the greed of people is a problem. The need to insinuate white into the equation is where the problems start.
