    Excellent avatar, flash.

This week was a letdown, but it was bound to be after that instant-classic Desmond episode. At least it was better than the Kate episode.

I agree it was an average show. One more thing though, does Ben have control over the black monster thing? Or was that actually Goodwin's wife?

          JIN AIN'T DEAD.

He didn't get off the island!

Look at the tombstone at the end. His date of death is Sept. 22, 2004. That's the day of the crash (I think). At the very least, it's before where we are now, Christmastime 2004.

So Sun is a member of the Oceanic Six, but Jin is not. I guess that would make Aaron the sixth member.

So how does Sun leave the island without Jin?

              Meh, they probably get seperated.

Or, there is one seat left and Jin insist that Sun goes on without him.

Another average episode. Yes the Desmond episode has set the expectations way too high.

The promos for this week said it would disclose who the Sixth member was. I must be missing something because after watching, I'm still only sure about 5. Did I miss something?

Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, Sun, ???????

Aaron was born on the Island and Ben wasn't on the flight.

I assumed it was Aaron. I mean he was on the flight, technically. It has to be somebody because didn't the promo for this episode say the last of the Oceanic six would be revealed.

I took it as Jin = #6. But I admit I wasn't watching too closely this week.

                    • Poor ep IMO. Granted, the twist with Sun thinking Jin's dead is pretty good but the ep didn't reveal anything. We already knew the boat is Widmore's and Michael being the spy was blatantly obvious by now.

                      • I was kind of half paying attention at the grave site, but I thought the conversation was ambigious enough that he might not be dead, just stuck on the island. "I miss you" "I wish you were here"
It's obvious from Jacks after adventures that they can't get back to the island.

                        • Jin was seen off the island, obviously he got off. And the tombstone had a death date.

                          • Ummm, Jin was having a flashBACK, Sun a flashFORWARD. Jin's off-island stuff was taking place back in 2000, the Year of the Dragon.

The death date on the tombstone was the date of the Oceanic crash; the party line is that he died when the plane went down, along with almost everyone else outside of the Oceanic Six. So he's either still alive on the island and everyone is pretending he and everyone else on the island died (for reasons that are yet to be explained), or he dies on the island sometime between now and when the Six get off.

And I agree with Flash, this was a great episode.

                              • I too thought it was a flash forward at first till I realized it wasn't Sun having the Baby.
