    I couldnt do it.
    I watched the first episode.

even worse, I watched it without having the 2nd one yet

I'm afraid these 8 episodes will be a torture. with all the flash forwards they wont get off the island until season 5

I agree that the people on the boat are probably part of the Dharma group. Also, they may have a mole on the island, and maybe that is how they knew the plane crashed.

I think sayid will probably die before he is able to get off island, he is always trying to shot people. Kate+Hurley would be awesome though.

Thanks a lot. This might help.

I only find lost interesting when I can sit down and watch an entire season at one time. Other wise there is to many annoying cliff hangers.

It's interesting that the island scenes are now the flashbacks. However, the story off the island is poopoo.

Towards the end of Season Three, Lost was jumping back up in quality.

Tonight's episode just sealed it. Even considering last week's **** sandwich, Lost is once again head and shoulders above every other drama on network TV.

So the island is some sort of time warp thingee?
Remember the picture one of the helicopter guys had of Ben by the computer screen? That equipment looked more modern than the Dharma equipment on the island. Could it be that Ben is their "constant"? Maybe Ben has been off the island some time. Perhaps he's made money using his future knowledge? They also might be representing Dharma. Dharma must have been pretty wealthy to build what they did. Was Dharma built by some wealthy dilettantes, or did they make their money sponging off of rich donors or even investing in the stock market?

It's really smooth how they folded tonight's story back into Desmond's previous story. Remember when we first met him he had just been released from military prison before deciding to try sailing around the world. Obviously he did time for going AWOL to search out the physics professor.

A little Project Rainbow. Cool stuff. I liked this episode very, very much.

I've officially given up on catching a wave. The only way a person can start watching now is to do like Oerdin says and sit and watch it. Right now, to me, it's too difficult. It's not entertaining.

Tonight's episode was exceptional, I must admit.

I liked last night's episode too, though I found the whole "constant" thing to be a bit corny. It seemed to purely be a plot device that gave a reason for Desmond to contact Penny.

Having said that, I found the scene where he talked to Penny to be very touching.

The transfer of key knowledge between timelines (machine settings for Eloise, Penny's phone number) was nicely thought out and well executed. Personally, I like the "constant" concept.

I stopped watching after Hurricane Wilma. No cable for three months killed my addiction. I don't want it back.
