I'm convinced it's Musharraf. He came to power because of her fall and she was a dangerous opponent for him after she came back. It has seemed to me after she came back from exile Musharraf got more and more pushed aside, so he certainly have motive.

In this case I would say that eliminating the primary opposition prior to an election - no matter how rigged - decreases the ability of the populace to choose their own government, so it harms Pakistani democracy (even while no Democracy exists there).

Another delusion of yours. You obviously have little idea of what drives these people. Every Pakistani leader risks death. The prospect of power is a powerful motivation, especially for people like Bhutto. It's not the first time someone has risked death to satisfy their bloated ego.

This whole thing is bull****. Her return to Pakistan was almost wholly choreographed by the United States and Britain, in service of their own interests in their moronic "War on Terror". Now that their goal has been frustrated, they are crying. As if our scumbag leaders care about Pakistani democracy or ordinary Pakistanis. They obviously didn't, since they wanted to inflict a corrupt and brutal thief back on the Pakistanis.
