          Quebec is bound to be assimilated, one decade, or another...People just better get used to it.

          We should have thought of that in 1545 when the english did, and flooded the place with French people instead of keeping people in europe to fight England.

                The fact of the matter is, bilingual people have 80% more job opportunities than uniligual french speakers in quebec...why is that so? Thats what I would like to ask that dimwit.

                      They force people to speak french? One lady in France insisted on replying me in english, even though I spoke to her in my (bad bad bad) french. I found that really rude.

                          That's one of the most common complaints I hear of students who come to study here. They want to practice their French, but locals try to speak English to them. From all I've ever experience, it's the locals trying to be polite, not rude.
