Just because in a global social perspective perspective it is far easiest to be a white male, that doen't men I can't be pissed off when within smaller contexts I'm targeted and made feel guilty for being something I can't (and don't feel the need to) change. It is quite ironic to point out the reaction of people without seeing where they come from. The funny part would be if white boys are pissed off, but they're actually not recognizing the way that for example black people have been treated over the years and how it still affects everything today. Or when they're openly racist and go "I knew it!" as if their racism is now justified, because "they're racist too", so it magically becomes defensive startegy instead of an offensive one. Now, these people are funny.

However, there are some race claimers right here, claiming to know what white race is, saying that I'm one so I know everyone, and you're being a silly person for pointing how how stupid this whole "diversity" thing in this particular case is. But you see, I don't even see black people daily. I've spoken to black people few times. I live in a homogenous country, including other whities who aren't going to come here. Only our neighbours actually visit us and that's it. So when I see an idiocy like this happening, that is mixed up with higher education, I tend to think, "wow this is stupid". And saying it isn't me defending the injustices of the world, or crying because the golden spoon fell on the floor as others have struggled. That is totally BS.

I always respond as an individual. I don't even really recognize myself as a Finn, as I've told many times, or European. So when I reflect things, I'm talking as a person, so just to let you racists know, you can claim the race all you want, but I'm not talking for anyone else except me, from my point of view, my history, experience and values. THE REASON WHY this gets my attention though? None of this idiocy. It is because I have respect for higher education, science is my life, so I don't want any of this kind of BS mixing up with it. Higher education and academic freedom are actually very simple and definitive, this doesn't belong to it. Quite true, it doesn't. In one of the - now dead - links on U of D, there was a passage saying that whenever whites talk about other "white slaves" (wage slaves etc.), they're thereby spitting on black people. It is a form of racism even by those who claim not to be (and reveals their inherent racism).

And the Murmansk is the perfect example. First of all, the whities (Russians) were so bad, that we actually welcomed the help of nazis. Then, Finns, refused to try cutting the supply lines, because they would be cutting the lines of Russians, whites, even when it was the nazis who wanted this. But there's a doublestandard here, Finns were also maybe afraid of the possible consequences and reprisals if they did that, so they knew the deviant minds of Russians, Finns knew that other whites can't be trusted, and they would kill Finns to pay back in kind. It ended up Finns having to fight both sides, that's how destructive and power hungry they are. Let's not forget the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact, where Stalin and Hitler divided Europe for possible world domination, they didn't take any non-whites to that pact. They were so racist, that they would even kill whities in order to then oppress non-whites. That's how hateful they really are, they would quite literally kill their own grandmas just to be able to boast and say they are superior.

Actually, for the most part the "poor little oppressed white boys" in this thread have had a calm discussion about how silly this stuff is. There has been some outrage from certain posters, but by and large it's been very tame. Why? Because most of us rightly understand that this is not a serious threat to us.

We discuss all sorts of silly things here a 'poly. It doesn't mean that everything we discuss rises to DEFCON1 status...
