I never said it doesn't hurt, not just nearly as bad as say, getting my nose broken.

    • Kid, You are the biggest pansy on Apolyton. Just because something hurts, doesn't make it torture.

I don't understand why people argue with Kid except for extreme boredom. He's the most biased, single-minded, and close minded individual I've ever met. He's either as big a troller as Wiglaf or the leader of the anarchist movement.

      • About torture, I think torture has some distint features. I mean the way I see torture that is. Pain is difficult to measure, it's subjective, however we think everyone hurts under torture pretty much. But the amount of pain is a difficult measurement for what counts as torture, but it can be said that torture is something where extreme amount of pain is inflicted upon the body of the subject.

But I would think torture requires, not always, but usually, certain environment. This doesn't mean a torture room, but some charateristics, such as full control provided by that environment. Torture is mostly psychological, pain is just one element of it all. It is systematic, it is like a procedure. At least traditionally. So pain alone doesn't cut it as torture for me. This is not saying that causing extreme pain is OK or that it never can be torture.

But you aren't arguing. You are just making stupid claims. Just because you make a stupid claim, doesn't make it true.

Amnesty International calls it toture, and so does the dictionary dingbat.

Dude, I've told you this before, I like girls not dudes. Its cool you like dudes if that’s your thing, but it’s not mine. I realize the instances where I thrash you so seemingly easily across this board in some way fulfills your fantasies of being dominated, but it is really just an exercise in pointing out the obvious to you and in no way sexual.

So please, Kid, refrain from invoking my name in threads I have not posted in, it is creepy.

In any case, BRAVO!!! This has got to be one of the worst boot stomps you have ever taken, and that is saying a lot.

Did you see the video of the tasing of the student in the computer lab. That's definitely toture. They taser him to make him do something (get). Unfortunately, a person can't stand up sometimes after being tased. The stupid mother****ers don't even know what they are doing. This kind of thing happens often.

Pity is all I have for you. Nothing more.

I see that you still have a (hacked) qoute of mine in your sig though. Now that's creepy. A stalker with no sense of reality.

                  • Since you brought up the dictionary concerning what is torture, let's discuss that. I read the definition from dictionary.com, and I'm not sure who wrote that definition, but from a standpoint of how the word is usually used, the definition is either wrong or too broad. It basically said torture is to cause pain. That could be anything. According to that definition, a paper cut really is torture. If you asked me if I'd ever been tortured, I'd say no, but according to this definition, I think I now have a basis for a lawsuit against several doctors for torturing me with shots, surgery, etc. Fine Kid, if you want to use this definition, we'll go with it, but stop acting like torture is some horrible thing then, because according to the dictionary, it's basically any kind of pain inflicted. So the guy was "tortured", most of us suffer "torture" every day. Stop sensationalizing.

                      • I don't think there is any other word for what happened to the student in the computer lab than "torture". That's not to say that the police intended to torture him, but that they ended up doing so, whatever their intentions.

                          • Then torture is overrated. The lesson to be learned is don't resist arrest, or you get what you deserve.
