I remember in Sum of All Fears, the Americans were able to trace the H-bomb back to one of their own reactors. Clancy is usually pretty good with technical stuff, so I'm guessing that each reactor has its own "signature" like a fingerprint.

Does anyone have any info on this??

Is Lugovoi the man who ate with Litivenko just before his death? IIRC that man got a little sick too. How crazy/stupid would an agent be to administer such a lethal agent by a means where he wasn't adequately protected from poisoning himself? Wasn't he in the hands of the British or in a British hospital after Litivenko's death? Supposing that he did do this, how crazy/stupid would he have to be to return to Russia after they let him do this knowing that he might die from poisoning also?

Oh, and for balance let me just say one thing: Anthrax.

Unless of course he poisoned the other guy's food and then made sure not to eat the poisoned food himself.

If you're skilled enough and crazy enough, you could dose yourself with the intent of moving suspicion away from you.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

I do know they're not the only ones to use the material.

When I worked in the QC Lab a few years ago, all of our balances had little "anti-static ionizers" taped just above the dish. They all had warning labels noting that they contained Polonium 210.

No, that was Mario Scaramella. A weird italian dude that tried to warn him and present evidence against the Ruskis trying to kill him.

The meeting with Lugovoi took place earlier (iirc).

The Russians said that Lugovoi and his "bussiness associate" Dmitri Kovtun also received radiation poisoning, and quickly hospitalized them, without an option for interview.

IIRC Kovtun was transferred deep into Siberia and Lugovoi is being treated in Moscow.

Yes. He was treated from a radiactive poisoning too.

Dorenko and Litvinentko were (Dorenko still is) a Berezovsky's whores. This whole story was a creation of Berezovsky, pulled out of his arse.

We won't extradite the guy to UK, because he is a Russian citizen and it's against our constitution to extradite our citizens to other country. If they provide enough evidence he might face the court in Russia though.

I don't think I'm the only one who has little faith in Russia's justice system especially given that the guy in charge is the one order hits on all his enemies.

My wife could bring a lethal dose of radioactive polonium home from work with her if she wanted.

It would be missed in a few days, but it's not that hard to get.
