A Shorter path than I expected!

I was thinking that most likely path would be through Richard Cheese's cover of "Baby Got Back", maybe through the punk scene, aiming for the Pogues who've played with the Chieftains.

Seems like we need a new rule: If the winner of a round doesn't post the artists/bands for the next round within, say, 30 minutes of posting the solution to the previous round, then after that 30 minutes has passed, choosing the next two artists is anybody's game.

So... after 30 minutes passing without the new artists being named, anyone who gets their pick in first, can name the artists for the next round.

I sent Molly a PM a aprox 3 hours ago, but she hasn't read it yet.

Let's wait another 30 minutes, starting from the time stamp on this post, and after that - anyone - feel free to name two artists so we can get rolling again.

Wow! That was short and sweet.

Kinda expected that this was a bit too easy after I had had time to think about that choise of artists for a moment... A short path connection came to my mind even without any research: Manson appeared on the album re-doing the songs from "Nightmare Before Christmas" (can't remember the album's name, nor the song Manson covered), and Fiona Apple covered "Sally's Song" on the same album... and Brion produced 2 albums for Fiona, and often performs with her.
