i remember when i acted like a twerp and pissed everyone off...
not just here but on prety much EVERY forum or chat site i used...
i just loved PWNing or trying to PWN suckers that fell for my trolls...
got to the point where i gave up Civ the game... just to use the forums to PWN people...
i had different "personalities" that i would kick into to further confuse my opponents...
i can actually name some posters HERE at the 'Poly OTF that STILL hate me because of my earlier PWNage attempts...
the "aprils fools joke" was perfect for me, as i finally got the chance to attack an ENTIRE forum without moderation...
DAMMIT that was fun...!
trolling, PWNing, and pissing people off wasnt just a hobby for me...
is was a WAY OF LIFE!
i havnt lost my touch either...

but on topic if i had CIV2 again, i would GLADLY love to get my butt kicked by Drixnak here...

Exactly. If I had been not reporting losses there would be a frenzy on the boards and a massive gang bang would ensue. Krill can't find any posts like that so he's done what every other newbie does when he can't back up his claims: He ignores everything that is said, repeats his claims over and over, and then eventually disappears.

The funny thing is that I know what Firaxis was trying to do with Civ4 and I could have fixed it for them. I was a top 5 US player for Age of Empires 2 and I've played civ on a high level since I was 10. There's nobody else out there who knows how to blend TBS and RTS together. Instead they went with some beginners who really didn't know what they were doing but they had a strangle hold on the community so Firaxis thought a rubber stamp of approval from them would suffice. I wonder if they'll ask for my all powerful guidance for civ 5?

Some of them did not know what they where doing but others (likly most) just played for fun. It is hard to tell which is which without talking about it. I won't talk about it because it would be immoral. They can not defend themselves because Firaxis put a gag order on talking about making the game.

hmmm... EyesOfNight does overstate how good he is to make people mad. He is very annoying. That alone does not make directly unrealted agruments wrong though. He is still a very good Civ4 player because has not changed that much.

of course. any claims of being great at something to people who dont actually care how great he was, means he either has to make a claim we care about or stop making claims to actually have positive impact for himself.

This is more or less true. I would say it would be okay to say he was good if people said he was not. I don't really know which came first.
