CIV 14 will be released in the future and EON will still be bragging about how great he was at II, claiming every version since sucked.

Actually I'm really hoping they make a good game of Civ5 so I can play that instead. I also played Civ4 for a while but it sucked. It's amazing how you can't seem to defend anything I say you just go on repeating your same lines you've used for years. That's why your brother is better than you Rah.

Eyes has posted the same sort of tripe on other forums besides Civ II... If you really didn't want any Civ IV players joining in the fun you probably shouldn't have let Eyes post his crap about the inhabitants thereof? Same goes for the OT. Once you let Eyes start insulting people in a given forum (and let's face it, he can't post in a forum without insulting everyone there within a couple posts), you get company with as much right to "play" along as you have...

By the way, I still say 1x1 requires more skill and less luck than 2x2. 2x2 is all about expanding as fast as possible and requires no long term strartegy. Nevertheless, I'll play you 2x2 if you send me the game.

1x1x makes land much more important and whales are down right over powered on it. Plus, it's just ridiculously slow and boring.

Slow is not necessarily boring but I agree about the whales. If you really want it to be pure skill play without the huts (scnerio - wipe goody huts).

Anyway, you want to send me a copy of the game? I'll play you whatever settings.

Yes, and I'm open to lots of settings contrary to popular belief. Deity is the only setting I have absolutely refused to really play. Get on AIM or ICQ or something? I have to be able to send it to you somehow.
