Fair enough but Ned is a decent guy notwithstanding his *controversial* views. But perhaps I'm biased from days of yore re: SMAC where Ned was a real contributor to the forum.

I miss him too. Now we have people like KH getting exposure. I miss Aggie, Fez, Ned and Molly to. MtG was just annoying, even more than KH.

I disagree somewhat. Ned is careful to stay within certain limits, and for that I'll give him some credit, but he's a master of saying incredibly insulting things without really breaking any rules. In a way, it's a bit like a debate in the UK house of commons. Polite, but nasty. Neddy likes to make nasty, sweeping generalizations about "the left" or "liberals" and then claim that he hasn't insulted any particular leftist or liberal.
Of course Ogie likes him. He gets to watch Ned rile up liberals.
