Ned has "serious moments" when he can post something interesting, but most of the time he is in the Nedaverse. Still, I like his forum persona far more than various people who based on their posting have political and ideological views much closer to me own.

He may say loony stuff (which can be insulting) but he is hardly if ever personally mean-spirited and insulting.

    • he is insulting in the fact that he exsists and has the ideas that he does, or tries to pull some "im a kennedy democrat" bull****. reading one of ned's posts causes you to lose brain matter, and I dont have that much!

and the problem is i dont think he is a troll. i think he actually believes what he types. furthermore he makes me like liberals MORE because of his idiocy. I dont like that! Im getting too old to like liberals.

This got to be classic sig material.

Other than that, I agree with you. Ned isn't trolling, he believes what he writes, and is at times very passionate about it. I don't like pure trolls and ignore most of them, but I like people like Ned, even though I don't agree with them.

Abu Ghraib was the shock that turned Ted into a liberal, he's very touchy on this topic.

I can understand that not all USAUSAUSA conservatives could switch like Ted did, when Bush shattered the myth of the US being the good guys.

Ned didn't acknowledge the evils of Abu Ghraib because he doesn't have Ted's balls

I always thought that stuff like that had to do with our brains, but there may be some truth to what you say. Sometimes we may be afraid to look at the real world. Ned could be a much more reasonable person if he really made a commitment to be so.
