Ted really lost it. He started off as a kinda silly (but fun) right-wing type and ended up as a freaky-freaky who bought into various conspiracy theories about 9/11.

Oerdin's change is nowhere near the same. Oerdin is still sane. He managed the switch w/o losing his mind. It's true that he has become a bit of a Dem hack, but that's really not too bad all things considered.

Having Ted back might be fun. Sanity isn't necessarily fun. Having a few raving loons helps keep otherwise reasonable people from bickering (familiarity breeds contempt?).
