There are actually a bunch of others on that list that will be very popular, too, but I'm not going through one-by-one.
Wii Sports is bundled, so it doesn't sell at all.

Here's a list of Wii exclusives (announced). I've bolded the ones that will likely actually sell a million copies or more.
That list looks pretty sad, IMO.
Where's the new Zelda title that they have pinned so much hope on?

I think you're pinning too much hope on Halo Wars myself. I've never seen a RTS transition well to console at all.

Selling too fast for Asher to list.

No, I'm saying that there's a lot of variety in interests. Nintendo is quite explicitly not aiming for the "hardcore gamer!!!1!" market with the Wii, so the opinions of people on IGN aren't super-germane. And I know I can't be the only person who doesn't give a rat's arse about awesome graphics. We're getting to the point where increases in power only mean slightly more crisp versions of the same thing. Zelda gamers can only see individual locks of Link's hair instead of being able to count the strands, and that's very important for hardcore gamers--i.e., people who need a realistic picture to masturbate to.
Me, I'd still play the bloody PS1 if they still made games for it. Halo 2 could essentially be made for the PS1 or N64 hardware, just with less exciting graphics and possibly multiple CDs. You'd lose Xbox Live; that's about it. The Wii is a radically different kind of gaming, but it has the potential to become much more immersive and intuitive than just fumbling with buttons. The challenge facing Nintendo is to realize that potential. Give them time to learn how. They might even learn to overcome such daunting obstacles as remembering to include support for the "classic" controller on the next Zelda game--though that's a pretty crippling, intrinsic flaw in the hardware, I must admit!
Oh, and you forgot to bold "Wario Ware" for sneer effect in the Wii-exclusives list. Sloppy. EDIT: Whoops, I see you were emphasizing the ones you think will succeed--but wait, two of the three you bolded were Mario games, and Mario doesn't sell anymore, so you must have made a mistake, verdad?
Is it a Japan only game? That would be a strange decision on MS part if it is.

AIUI the entire point of the game is to give the Japanese a reason to actually buy Xbox 360's.
According to wiki the 360 sold 100k units in Japan by the end of 2005. Looking at Asher's figures in the other thread, it doesn't seem to have sold more than 10k/month since then. There can't be more than, say, a quarter of a million.

Err. Yeah, and without the multiplayer and without the renowned AI...

Only the best part of the games...
The Wii is a radically different kind of gaming
That's the thing! It's not. When you get down to it, the games are the same except they make you cringe when you play on an HDTV (which are propagating quickly). Swinging a controller is just another way to play the game. Light guns didn't revolutionize the shooting games (in fact, it was another overhyped gimmick). The problem is the games are actually the same, but now with a novelty controller that has yet to actually be implemented well enough to become a primary controller. Even reviews of Zelda point out it's lacking lots of intuitiveness and immersiveness -- the sword singing could effectively be done with the use of the analog stick since it doesn't correspond to the movement of the Wiimote at all, for instance.

I'm not stupid, there's enough of a niche market for Mario Galaxy and co to sell over 1 million copies. They just don't have the same impact as games like GTA or Halo.

How is Blue Dragon going to sell a million copies? Are there even a million Xbox 360's in Japan?
It's not only for Japan, it's coming to Europe and North America in Q1 2007.

And BioShock isn't bolded?
This sounds more like Asher's list of the franchises or games he's actually heard of...
Is BioShock still a 360 exclusive?
I've heard of it, I'd also heard it was going multiplatform. I overlooked it.
