This could get very interesting. I don't think Michigan did enough today to justify remaining #2 after this weekend... but they might have done enough to justify only dropping them slightly so that with a couple of losses, they'd be right back in the driver's seat. Ohio State, warts and all, however, proved they're the best in the land.

Now I turn my focus to cheering on Cal.

I also think it is pretty clear that, despite that, they do not deserve a chance at a rematch.

MD which had been coming on strong in the second half of the season got butt-whipped by BC.

Navy's running attack destroyed another weak division one team. They really seem to have a hard time telling where the ball is going with the option attack. Even the cameramen get confused.

For the love of God, I just want Michigan to win once, just once, while I'm living in this hellhole of a city. People are already setting off fireworks; it's only a matter of time before various and sundry pieces of furniture are burning in the streets.

Ohio State dominated Michigan; it's really too bad that a bunch of fluky turnovers/penalties made the final score closer than the game actually was. We might see these teams play again in the national title game...

I agree 100% with every word of this. I'd actually rather see Michigan play somebody else good in a bowl game, and beat them to become the consensus #2.

furthermore wasnt this the crap the bcs wqas supposed to solve or reduce, the national championship contreversy? all the bcs did was shift the debate from who was #1, to who has the right to play the #1

The NCAA Basketball tourney is the best!

The main thing the BCS did was to assure that if there were two undefeated teams at the end of the season, they would play each other for the national title. No more, no less. People who expect more out of it are deluding themselves...
