coincidentally, my wife is in morgantown tonight and tomorrow for an job interview at the university, she's probably watching the game with some profs.

I hope she gets better offers...

I think this is more of a case of West Virginia taking another one . They do this (ie, pulling away in the 2nd half) pretty well, you know, aside from that Louisville game?

If Michigan loses a close game at Ohio State are they the best 1 loss team in the country? I'd say Yes. They beat Notre Dame when they were ranked #2 currently #5 and beat Wisconsin currently #9.

If Ohio State loses a close game to Mcihgian are they the best 1 loss team in the country? I'd say Yes. They beat Texas when they were ranked #2 currently #13, and #13 Iowa and #24 Penn State when they played them.

If that is true, is this weekend the BIG GAME or the first half of the BIG GAME.

I know it wouldn't be popular. But unless there is a blowout, these 2 teams are the 2 best teams no matter the outcome of the game.

Wow... 641 yards of total offense for WVU... just a beat down.

                        Legendary coach Bo Schembechler dies

Former Michigan football coach Bo Schembechler died Friday at Providence Hospital in Southfield. He was 77.

Schembechler was taping of a television show at WXYZ-TV and was taken by ambulance to Providence.

The coaching legend fell ill at the studios, station officials said. Schembechler also was hospitalized Oct. 20 after falling ill at the same location.

Police were sent to the station around 9:25 a.m. along with the city's fire department and escorted an ambulance to Providence Hospital, Harris said.

Schembechler met with the media earlier this week to discuss Saturday's game between the second-ranked Wolverines and No. 1 Ohio State.

During the news conference, the 77-year-old discussed the device that was implanted to regulate his heartbeat after he was hospitalized last month.

He said the device covered about half his chest and that doctors still were making adjustments to it.

Schembechler said he did not plan to attend the game in Columbus, Ohio, and that he doesn't attend road games anymore.

Schembechler had a heart attack on the eve of his first Rose Bowl in 1970 and another one in 1987. He has had two quadruple heart bypass operations.

The seven-time Big Ten coach of the year compiled a 194-48-5 record at Michigan from 1969-89. Schembechler's record in 26 years of coaching was 234-64-8.
