Good. Keep it up, and get used to more and more places telling you to f*ck off with your smoke.

if i was there first who the hell are u to tell me what i can and cant do if its allowed by law??
I have NO idea what you're on. Isn't the whole point that it's no longer allowed by law?

      • Who's insulting folks?
You are. That drama queen comment?

The arguments behind permitting the minority to smoke in public places to the detriment of the whole of the public are not supportable by any reasonable means.
Why are private businesses subject to these laws? No one enters a pub unless they choose to do so.

Why is it that you radical righties get all upset about "advocate judges" that make rules, that you insist it should be up to the people...then when the people make rules you ***** and complain?
What radical righties? I doubt Ming and Mrs. T are in that category.

Smokers are in the minority. Smoking affects everyone around them. Smoking in public places is bad, mmkay.
Oh ty for that asher, you are the gift that keeps on giving.

        • the problem you have in defending thesmoker as a minority right is,., being a minority isnt public health related and you also dont believe we are above making laws that limit rights when we clearly do.

are my arguements so good that no one can find fault with them?

              Purely observation.

I don't know what else to call this kind of behaviour:
i dont care wahahhat people sAY!!! I do not CARE!! I smoke do you see me go there and smoke no way!!! I DONT CARE!@!! OMG SKY IS FALLKINGIGINGNIG I DONT CARE!!!

Why are private businesses subject to laws at all? Another stellar argument from your camp.

Ming is just trying to be clever. It's not working, of course, to anyone but the radical righties who go "RIGHT ON" when he says something facetious with a wink...

                  Blah, blah, blah...
                  A dozen?

Air pollutants derived from energy-related activities, primarily the combustion of fossil fuels (heating oil, coal, natural gas, gasoline, diesel fuel), are responsible for 82% of carbon monoxide emissions, 57% of SO2 emissions, 90% of NOx emissions, and 62% of VOC emissions9 . What follows is a description of the relationship between air pollutants and health.

The link between air quality and health has long been established. In times past, when woodstoves and fireplaces provided indoor heating, the resulting respiratory illness required people to sleep propped-up by pillows. In 1952, a single smog event in London, England, characterized by very high concentrations of sulphur aerosols from the burning of coal as residential and commercial heating fuel, caused over 4000 deaths. This event and others in major cities across the world have led to the implementation of various measures to reduce the air pollution and therefore decrease the number of deaths. These measures however, have not eliminated mortality due to air pollution. In Canada, at least 5000 deaths are attributed to air pollution annually with over 2000 deaths in Ontario alone.

Why not... you were the one that played the minority card. You were basically saying that the non smoking majority is in the right to restrict smokers. One could use that same argument to say that non gays, since they are a majority, can restrict the rights of gays simply because they are a majority.

And yes, car pollution (and other forms of polution) do kill people. So if you want to pick on smokers, pick on factories, people who drives cars, and other polluters as well...

You're the ONLY person obsessing over this rights BS. WHY??

Just go outside. You have the same rights as everyone else. get over it.

They are two seperate issues and how dare you try to make the comparison that they are one in the same.

I'm a smoker, I smoke in my house. I respect people when they ask me to put out my cigarette in public places. I don't touch children and I don't rape them either.

Move on and and get a life.
i didnt compare the two or equate smoking to child molesting. its an example where the gov trough public sentiment regulates private property use and thats what they have in common. im sorry you missed that completely.

Since when do cars call all air pollution?

Save yourself the time and drop it. Link to a scientific study linking the pollution caused by cars to deaths in North America.

Then compare this to the death rate caused by smoking.

Then debate how cars/trucks are essential to modern life and smoking is nothing but an addiction for weak-willed people.

Then we can come to a conclusion.

Mrt the smoker isnt a minorioty like a balck person or a gay woman. to apply laws that are strictly for gays and stuff is insane just as it is insane to say i want to breathe my own air on a public street where its legal for a person to smoke it isnt gonna happen
