you don't need to go to China to find knockoff designer clothing... you only need to go as far as Chinatown. Though you'll want to head up to the LA area, the one in San Diego is kinda sad.

Once again, you ignore the issue entirely to resort to spin!

You don't want 'nice' clothing. You want 'knock-offs of designer clothes'. As Ludd said, the designer look without the designer cost... and don't for a second think that subconsciously (or even consciously!) women don't associate designer clothes look with having money.
Imran, you're just not going to get it. I consider the shirts I posted in the OP to be nice clubbing shirts. I want to buy shirts similiar to those but not for $100 each. I understand that you don't have anything to contribute. I even understand that you think anyone who buys nice clothes but who doesn't pay 50% more to get a label is a posser. That's fine. I'm hoping somebody else has something useful to add since you don't.

Agreed. Our Chinatown is sorely lacking in actual deals from China and instead is angled more towards duping tourists. LA's fashion district would likely be a better place to look.

And once again, you don't get it. We aren't talking about 'nice clothes'. If we were, that'd be your title, but it ain't. It's about knockoffs from designer clothes, so, as Ludd put it, you can get the designer look without the designer price. Nothing to do with 'nice clothes' at all.

Listen, Oerdin wants cool looking clubwear. The coolest looking clubwear around is designer clothing, but Oerdin doesn't want to pay the premium for it.

Yeah, we know... and we are mocking him for it .

Well, clubbing shirts don't have to be expensive or designer or anything.

Looking comfortable is more important than looking stylish.

Now, you can be comfortable with designer clothes, if you wear them all the time, but just wearing them clubbing people will know.

                ACK!

Oerdin, why don't you go about naked? That's cheap AND cool

My gf's prom dress was $4 it was a really nice dress too. Course, it helps that she does her own tailoring...

and San Diego is one of those places where it never gets too cold to do it either.

I'm sure Imran will have a problem with that too.

More importantly, I imagine the club would too.

First of all, the clothes make the man. Forget all this nonsense that people in this thread are talking about calling you a poser and all that... fact is, designers clothes ARE nice clothes... not only are they nice but they are the closest thing to being OBJECTIVELY nice... an $8 shirt you take a risk with it. an $80 shirt with a designer name or style, you'll get positive attention regardless.. and if you can get it for half price, more power to you.

Who of you would wear an $8 polo shirt to an interview or even to anywhere where your appearance matters remotely, be it a meeting with a client or a meeting with a girl? And you never know when these crucial encounters will take place so you got to always look your best.

                              anyway, to help you out...

In Philly, we have stores like Foreman Mills, Jomar, and Burlington Coat Factory that sell actual designer clothes, albeit irregulars... actually i think they also sell non-irregular designer clothes too but they got some scheme going on to make them cheap.

then again, i'm not sure if they have Armani... more like the 'rap' clothing labels (Phat Farm, Rocawear, Sean John, Akademiks, etc.) and the 'pseudo-rap' clothing labels (Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY, Ralph Lauren Polo, etc.). Don't be turned off by the hip hop-ness of these clothes though. Most are collared button ups and polo shirts.

check out www.rocawear.com www.seanjohn.com and www.akademiks.com for more info. You'll look sharp and have an underground and hip flavor to your clothes.
