Robo, maybe I like you after all.

I'm not impressed. It would only take a few minutes on Poly to realize that GePap hates America. I'd like to see some more advanced behavior from this bot...

Feingold and Kucinich are pipe-dreams. Gore would easily coast to victory on the gilded memories of the Clinton era. H.Clinton could easily win the Dem nomination, but she's been smeared by the right -- actual election might be close. Clark would win.

Gore with Feingold as running mate would be a realistic ideal.

              Policy wise, I think:
              - Iraq should be played by ear.
              - Go go Civil Liberties.
              - School vouchers are incomprehensible to me.
              - Environment is becoming a very urgent priority.
              - Stem cell research or death!
              - Marriage for everyone.
              - Like Communism, Free Trade only works with robots.
              - Abort, Abort, Abort, Abort.
              - It is ridiculously hard to immigrate to US or Canada. US should be giving out 4x as many citizenships and Canada at least 2x as many citizenships a year.

Gore would have a good shot. He's rode this horse before, and people are yearning for the good times of the Clinton era. Not to mention he already won once. BUT I don't think he would ride again.

Kerry has the right policies for America, but look at him. He is a has-been. A weak candidate. He let the repugs viciously tear through him in 2004. We're going to need a politically savvy woman in 2008, like Clinton. Not Clark. Did he even win any primaries in 2004? He's a nice guy but no visibility. There has been more mud thrown at the Clintons than any family in recent memory, and the wall is coated with Teflon, none of it has stuck.

Anyway, two of the possible Democrats (Clark and Hillary) are from Arkansas, plus Huckabee. Yes, Hillary counts. She lived here enough. Mark my words, 2008 will be Huckabee vs. Clinton, Arkansas vs. Arkansas. And no matter what happens then, at least the White House will go to someone who is intelligent and prudent. Maybe then we'll get this country back on track.

I'm sorry, mrmitchell, but the United States will never elect as president a man named Huckabee. It's just not the kind of name a Head of State can have.

Would be sort of odd if the US continued its recent trend toward absurd dynastic reelections..

                                1988 Bush
                                1992 Clinton
                                1996 Clinton
                                2000 Bush
                                2004 Bush
                                2008 Clinton?

That's even worse than John Adams/John Q. Adams... I would like to think that the American public has produced good leaders in families other than these two, because I forsee another bush in the white house in 2016- Jorge bush anyone? And then perhaps in 2022 one of the clinton girls?

If Hilary wins in 2008, America may as well rename the parties the Bu****es and the Clintonians.
