That was a very fun match. Just how many excellent opportunities did Allback waste? Considering that the Trinidiad goalie wasn't supposed to be playing, awesome performance by T & T.

It was definitely a game well worth to watch, despite being a 0-0 draw. Unlike England-Paraguay, which was utterly boring.

            WTG T&B!

Avery John wuz robbed on the red card, though. It was a clean tackle.

To be fair to all the other American commentators, that pair was especially bad.

                T&B?

The bets thing to come out of the England game today was that I couldn't hear anyone booing either national anthem.
Personally, I'm not overly fond of God Save the Queen, either on a muscial or a monarchist level, but believe that if it means something to the players and the spectators then anthems should be respected. Now if only I could be bothered to go and search for the South Korean anthem so I can learn the words for Tuesday.

Let's see if we can get another upset with Ivory Coast vs. Argentina. Would be nice to see Ivory Coast have something going for them giving that they are in a civil war...

A hit, a palpable hit! Good skillz.

Ivory Coast seem to know what they're doing in the opening minutes. This could be a great game.

Nothing short of a 10-0 victory for either team would be an upset, these are both very strong teams that are both capable of winning this one.

That said, holy crap, Argentina is very strong today. It should be 3-0 -- Côte d'Ivoire is getting getting its arse kicked, despite playing very strongly themselves. Football at its best!

I hope that cheating Argentinian player who got Eboue booked with that dramatic dive and histrionics gets his come-uppance somewhere along the line.

Eboue hardly touched him but he took a bullet in the shin from somewhere.
