The bets thing to come out of the England game today was that I couldn't hear anyone booing either national anthem.
Personally, I'm not overly fond of God Save the Queen, either on a muscial or a monarchist level, but believe that if it means something to the players and the spectators then anthems should be respected. Now if only I could be bothered to go and search for the South Korean anthem so I can learn the words for Tuesday.

That said, holy crap, Argentina is very strong today. It should be 3-0 -- Côte d'Ivoire is getting getting its arse kicked, despite playing very strongly themselves. Football at its best!Comment
