No offense, but does anyone seriously believe Iran just wants nuclear technology for peaceful purposes? That's right up there in fantasyland with the "Oh, let's just kick their asses." Proving it doesn't really do much... the only hope is that the US acts scared enough that the Iranians decide they don't really need nukes to scare us off, and the penalties for getting nukes wouldn't be worth it. Either way it's a horrible position to be in, and we wouldn't be here with so few options if someone hadn't decided invading Iraq was a good idea.

Again, blame Bush for Iran's choosing a nuclear program. Do you have anything else? Iran wants to wipe Israel off the map.

Most likely, someone finally talked some sense into the Prez and made him realize that we'd lose Iraq if we attacked Iran.

As if we should believe this Administration anyway when it sez someone's trying to build WMDs.
