I guess you should be thankful for that

Seriously, I don't really give a ****, since this is so far away from here that it's probably the farthest away a person can be on this planet, but the principle of the matter should be anyone who considers themselves mexican and not american shouldn't be in america. It's not as if america was this restrictive country that demanded social uniformity - this is a simple demand that their allegiances wouldn't be with the people across the border, but with their new homeland. That's what the other immigrants did.
Btw, this is unlike, say, Irish or jewish immigrants: ireland and Israel don't have a shared geography with the united states. However, I also think that the allegiance of jews around the world is and should be first and foremost to the places they live in.
