No, you don't believe in freedom of expression. Stop trying to conflate both issues.

    Latvia Refuses Soviet Veterans Benefits

Was that so hard to provide a citation?

It isn't right for Latvia to honor Nazis, but they shouldn't honor Soviets either. After all, the Soviets brutally repressed the country, which is the reason they welcomed the Nazis in the first place. Same thing as happened with Finland (though they had not suffered nearly the same repression).

I am against NAZISM, silly boy. I believe nazis, as well as satanists should gather in jails, not on squares of capitals.

And against free expression I see. Sending Nazis and Satanists to jail for simply voicing their political opinions .

What if Germany banned Communists and put them in jail for the same reasons?

Look, nazism in inhuman ideolodgy according to the decision of the international court - the Nuremberg trial. In most of the countries nazi parties are banned and people who agitate for slaughtering of other people because of their "inferiority" usually being presecuted.
Russia is no the exception and all nazi parties there are illegal.
So, what's your problem with that?

      Bullsh!t.
Btw, the Soviets you are talking about are veterans of the anti-Hitler coallition. In case if you don't know USA was a member of that coallition. The Soviets you are talking about are soldiers who fought vs. our common enemy, Hitler was your enemy too. Now you aggitate that they should be treated as crap.

What can I say? You Sir are NAZI.

      Satanist have political opinions?
I was talking about people who worship Satan. In my opinion there is no big difference between the jerks who worship Satan and jerks who worship Hitler.

For what the same reasons? I don't recall an international trail which found Communism to be an inhuman ideolodgy.

      p.s. More reading for you:

      "Latvian President Rehabilitates Nazism
      by Thierry Meyssan*, Fabrice Boudinet"

On March 16, 2005, a Waffen SS demonstration took place in the capital of a state that recently became a member of the European Union and NATO: Latvia. Authorities decided to allow it and to repress the citizens who protested. Far from being an isolated action, this event represents the culmination of a process, which aims at denying the disappearance of Nazism and rehabilitating it, led by the president of the Republic, Vaira Vike-Freiberga and openly financed by the Embassy of the United (…)

        So is communism.

It's a shame that they have to do that in those countries. I would hope that such an infringement on the freedom of speech, association, and assembly in those countries would be removed one of these days. The expire-by-date on these infringements has long since passed for countries like France and Russia. I mean, let's get real: Are there Nazis in Russia and France who we really need to worry about?
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Next time you'll be in Berlin try walking around with swastica armband. I bet you'll stay in Germany for a very long time for that.
You Americans simply do not understand what nazism is. Nazism makes people a mad animals and mad animals should be treated accordingly.
If you guys really think that there is nothing wrong to be a nazi, you are in deep sh!t and the whole world is in deep sh!t.

I've always said that and I'll say it again - the end is near.

You didn't learn the lessons of WW2. That means soon there could be another lesson for the humanity and this time perhaps the last lesson.

Au contraire, mon frere. Our powder is dry, to the tune of $400 or $500 billion per annum.

The only comment I have is that moving through the city was a pain in the ass yesterday with all those fences and police.

              • That's what I'm talking about. Not only your powder is dry, it is already exploding in Yugoslavia, Iraq and probably will in Iran.
You think it's ok to be nazi, you are invading countries at will. Hmmm, that reminds me something...

Where have you been so long? We had a great "beer vs. nazism" party here which comes to an end, I'm afraid.

Looks like this year you are moving in a right direction. When the hell this crap will settle down? Can we just live through it?

This year, just so you know, all demonstrations were disallowed - those of the SS veterans, those of the left movements, everyone. Avoiding provocations. What was the result? Yesterday was pretty quiet, no provocations from any side, no fights with the police, etc.

As for when stuff will settle down, I could go into explanations about what and why is happening here, but I've read enough of your posts to believe that you are not going to change any of your opinions and are going to keep the same attitude, so I probably shouldn't bother .
