Yes, I got a good laugh at your stupidity as well...glad to see you are big enough to laugh at yourself.

You and the other fascists continually act as if there is something special about the Iranians that would make them likely to buck the trend and launch an aggressive nuclear war. In fact you all spend your time assuming that we are so much better than them that they are likely to do weird and irrational things, just because they are foreign.

Well, I guess you answered the question on weather or not you could read as well. Sorry to know that the answer is "no". Nowhere have I said anything about them starting a war because we are better than them or because they were foriegn.

I believe that it had a few things to do with lack of international training for their government officials, the adherence to a fundamentalist view of religion, The closed system of leadership elections, and the statements by those leaders that they wipe other countries off the map. But if you want to throw accusations of facisimaround, then feel free to continue to look stupid.

Whether it's constant spouting on about the superiority of our Western moral character or whatever, the conservative world view is deeply racist. The worst thing is that most of you don't even realize it.

Looking back over this thread, I believe you are the only one who has mentioned "western moral superiority". There have been some discussion of "Western power superiority", but then most people don't equate power with morals....sorry to hear that you do.

You lot were saying this about the Soviet Union 25 years ago. That was a BS claim and so is your current one. If Pakistan, a military dictatorship that sponsored terrorism and has engaged in numerous wars with a neighbour that it detests, does not seem a likely candidate for launching an aggressive nuclear war, then Iran, a country which has been involved in one war (which it didn't start), and which has a far less disturbing record of sponsoring terrorists, and which in addition is not a military dictatorship, seems an even less likely candidate.

"You lot" That's hilarious! I resist your attempt to categorize people. Talk about a biggot!!

Which do you really consider the most dangerous form of government? A "Military Dictatorship" or a "Theocracy" founded on the principle of "exporting the islamic revolution"? Isn't it you that is always spouting off the dangers of religious fundamentalism? Oh Wait!! That's only if they are Christians! Sorry I forgot. (Stupid meter blows gasket on that double standard!)

And again.. there is no evidence that Iran is breaking the law. Until such evidence emerges, you have no case... nothing... nada... zip.

Well, technically they have violated some precepts of the NPT...so depending on your interpretation of what makes up international law, then I'll give you that one. However, when it comes to evaluating the danger to the world of a dangerous state posessing nuclear weapons, then I believe it is best for the security council to have a look. A growing majority of the "world powers" are becoming convinced of that as well. But, I guess you are just smarter than the rest of the world, right?

We controlled the entire country for a decade. What you controll there except your pitty arses in Kabul? Nothing.
You couldn't achive even this without our support and support of the Northern Alliance (who did all ground dirty work for you and who was supplied and armed by Russia), while we were there we fought vs. force supplied by another superpower - you. I seriously doubt you will stay longer in Afghanistan than we did. I predict you'll run with tails between your legs much sooner than 2012, despite we don't train, supply and arm your foes like you did when we fought vs. YOUR f*cking creation - the Taliban.

                  Jealous, my ass.

Do you have any clue as to the current situation in Afghanistan?

We hold virtually the entire country. Insurgent attacks occur, but are isolated and relatively rare. Our soldiers die at a rate hundreds of times lower than yours were in the 80s.

I think you are not in aware of situation in Afghanistan when we fought there. It was a proxy war between two superpowers started by USA. This is not the same as what's going on there now.

We hold virtually the entire country.
                          You? You mean Canadians?
Anyhow, the keyword here is virtually.

Same was there in 80's, despite Majahedens were supplied and trained by a superpower.

During a decade of Soviet presence in Afghanistan Soviet Army lost there less than 14, 500 of its personel (including non-combat deaths). So, I doubt that:
                          1) you'll be there after ten years
                          2) and if you will, your casualty rate will be lower than ours. Because our casualty rate in Afghanistan was four times lower than your casualty rate in Vietnam.

                          • Would it be possible to distinguish between the blast of a stolen Russian nuclear weapon and an Iranian one? It would be useful if we could convince the Iranians that should any of the weapons they make fall into terrorist hands and be used against Israel, a western power or for that matter anyone, we the world would know and would fashion an appropriate response.

                            • And don't even try to extrapolate. We'll talk about casualties in 2012. Besides, it was 25 years ago, warfare greatly improved since then and the casualty rate has dropped. And we can compare casualty rate only if both forces achived the same results, only if your forces will left Afghanistan in 2012 and left there a freindly government. But even this will not be fair, because in 80's we fough vs, another superpower, while you came in a country devastated by war started by your own creature which is supplied by nobody.
