Ok, I know a plot twist was needed, and its kinda cool that this right wing (pro-torture) show takes the giant Left wing conspiracy POV (the US govt is pumping up terror to get its hands on the OIL!) but this STILL makes no sense "This will show there are WMDs in Central Asia, we'll control the oil for generations"

Uh, generations? Nothing in international affairs is good for generations. Heck, a nerve gas explosion somewhere in central asia is as likely to get the Russians swarming all over as to get a bigger US presence. I mean that was pretty weak, and yet its the motive (apparently) behind Cummings actions, including assasinating a President.

But let me say this - yay for the Hobbit! He was right about Gollum, hes right about Jack Bauer, he just is so good at telling whos good and bad.

I liked the scene between Jack and Logan. You could tell just how disappointed Jack was with the present occupant of Palmer's old job. Like he almost regretted helping him, and couldn't get out of that room fast enough.

as was the other thing in the ep. who didn't see that one coming. It was berhuz all over again.

that's still in the scenes from previous shows... the actual show doesn't start until the 2:30 mark

and you can't possibly mean one hour and 32 minutes because the show is only 42 minutes long...

or for those watching it on DVR (tivo) or VCR... an hour...

I watched that episode when it aired and didn't recall seeing McCain
