Btw, for all you dumbass anti-liberal arts people:

I had to laugh last night. I told my wife, that Jack had to get out of CTU if he was gonna kill someone in the episode. She said don't worry, he'll find someone there to kill. I had to listen to "I told you so" for the rest of the evening. And to make it worse, in the first episode as soon as Cloe woke up with someone in bed, she said he had to be a mole to sleep with her. So it was a double "I told you so" night.

My favorite part of last night's ep was the very end where Jack says "I am not CTU... I will go get him myself.". As soon as Walt finds out his assassin failed, he better get out of town quick. Jack Bauer's out to get him and it ain't going to be pretty!

I could have done without the sentimental crap between Jack and Audrey and Edgar and Chloe. There's a national crisis and these people get mushy. If I want mushy, I can watch Gilmore Girls. This is "24": the only things I want to see are guns, bombs bad guys and Jack.
'There is a greater darkness than the one we fight. It is the darkness of the soul that has lost its way. The war we fight is not against powers and principalities, it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this peril we can never surrender. The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.'"

It was a transistion episode so I kinda liked it.
Chloe showing her great people skills with Edgar.
"We'll sit down later and have a cup of tea and I'll tell you all my secrets" and even she knew how lame it was.
Audry forced to interview Jack's new hoe.
          Classic "24".

And Jack still got to kill someone.

So the terrorists are Chechens, eh? Hmmm... Suddenly I'm suspecting our evil buddy Walt Cummings is trying to pull a sting on the terrorists. It's never clear-cut like this without it being some type of swerve (witness Gael in Season 3). Of course, whether he's truly evil or not, Cummings is headed for failure. (There are 19 hours left in the day, after all.)

If I'm Martha, I'm using this day as grounds for divorce once it's all over. Assuming Bumbling Idiot Logan even survives the day, of course. (At this rate, he's going to walk right into a terrorist trap.)

It all makes sense now. But I would have expected more 1337 speak coming from him.

Definitely. I hope he goes away, I can't stand him. I'd much rather have Keeler as president still... it was never confirmed back in Day 4
                    Spoiler:
whether or not he survived the crash of Air Force One... all we knew was that he was comatose. Apparently, he didn't, so we got stuck with Nixon, err, Logan.

And if Palmer is dead, why does he keep trying to sell me car insurance?

Why would a right-wing show have season 2's villains be evil oil barons conspiring to spark a war in the Middle East and increase their profits? Sounds right up the left's alley to me. Defense contractors were also villains in another season.

Not to mention that Palmer - the ideal President whose picture can be found next to 'integrity' in Webster's - was a Democrat who was a pacifist in foreign policy and was pushing for free health care domestically, while the blackmailing sleazeball in office last season and the incompetent jackass in office this season are both Republicans. Clearly these scripts are coming right out of Karl Rove's office.

                        • There's no way it's a right wing show.

The current President on the show is a total idiot. He was an idiot last season and is a complete idiot this season. Totally incompetent and full of himself.

Look at his profile on the 24 site too, it shows him to have a resume that started out as the President of Energy companies. We know who it's implying

                            • That fight at the end of the show was one of the best ever, awesome choreography. Jack almost lost it a couple of times, when he got tossed onto the wall I he was almost finished.

Chloe totally pwnz she is so likable I want her to tell me off like she does everybody else.

I want to see Curtis mix it up he led that raid but we need to see him throw down a few times.

I want to see him and Jack tag team a whole squad Rambo style or some ****.
