Yep. She's a horrible assistant. "Hmm... she told me she had proof of Palmer's phone call, hidden in her bra; she mysteriously passes out, and now the proof is gone. Maybe I should speak up, suggest that something's wrong around here? Nah..."

You expect it to make sense? What is wrong with you?!

Clearly there will be ... complications ... in the matter

Perhaps our Great Bad Guy will turn out not to be really bad (undercover, perhaps), or perhaps they'll ignore his selection as bad guy after the bauer confrontation

Well, I can suspend belief to an extent, but this seems especially incompetent. Needless to say, I don't think Logan will be giving her a Christmas bonus this year.

No, I meant your spoiler'ed post... but the first sentance applies to that as well .

              I agree with Jonny

              Spoiler:
the nerve gas thingie doesn't make much sense. And why did they have to take hostages beforehand? Man, they don't even try anymore... Maybe a computer writes the scripts, who knows?

Well I don't want to spoil anything, but Sava is now writing the scripts .

24 would be even more awesome (if you can imagine that!) if I were writing it.

To answer the last question, they probably took hostages to cover the excavation and extracation of the nerve gas.

the trick is, I get really fuct up, like paranoid freaking out fuct up... and I record my experience on video or something, then I watch it while sober and make note of the stuff I ramble on about... then I try to make sense of it and incorporate it into the story

also, I keep a notebook by me, or I stay on the computer while I do this... then I can type whatever comes to me...

I don't try to write while stoned, that's not what I do...

but I just brainstorm while stoned, come up with really weird ****, then put it all together when I'm sober

In high school, I always wanted to do creative writing, like maybe a book or something... but I never could stick with any of my ideas. Later on when I started smoking weed, I found that I would come up with some cool stuff while stoned, but I wasn't really able to sit down and write because I wanted to do fun things while I was stoned. So I just took some notes, then while sober, I tried to remember what I was thinking about, and I put it together using my notes and I came up with some great stories.

I never thought about really publishing anything. But some of it is pretty good. It's mostly just for fun.

you should try to publish something

would be something useful for you to do

well, most of my stuff is not long enough to be a book...

a lot of it is unfinished

a few people have told me it's really good, some teachers from college, etc... one guy my mom used to work with who wrote a few novels...

I dunno, I'm not really disciplined enough to complete a book... and then I have no idea where to go to get something published... nor do I have the money.

And even then, what do I do if nobody likes it? I don't care about rejection, that doesn't bother me. I write the stuff because I enjoy it, not because anyone else likes it. I just don't want to waste the time, effort, and money of publishing it if there's no reward... i.e. PROFIT

It shouldn't take money to get published (well it does for you to live while you wait to get published). Real authors get paid, they don't pay.

And if you don't care about rejection, why care if no one likes it? And if it gets published (without you paying to get it published) then someone liked it .
