      24 is a right wing show. I don't watch it on principle.

        Oh, come on... Season 4 SUCKED! It was completely and totally ridiculous and implausible (when they abruptly changed gears in the plot in mid season). Sure, it's going to be divergent from reality, but it should have some realism behind it. Season 4 just said, ah screw that (on SDMB, we were literally laughing at the show). Hopefully this season will be better... so far it is looking good.

            It got progressively worse. I didn't watch season 3 'till the end because it was just so ridiculous I couldn't face it anymore.

            Season 1 was awesome though.

              Too bad Palmer's gone though, I liked him. But I guess those Allstate commercials have got him too busy for this show.

              President Logan = most annoying. Hopefully someone takes him out. Maybe taht Evil Advisor Guy...

                  Since the game ran long, 24 was 10 minutes delayed. Some jackasses in the midlands missed this and started their 10 O'Clock News right on time, depriving thousands of people of the end of the show.

                            I watched half a season and stopped. I have no intention to ever watch it again. It's ridiculous. We're actually supposed to believe that all that occurred within 24 hours? Lessee - the terrorists stole a bomb and a missle, set it up, sent out various warnings, got raided a couple of times, managed to have a court issue a restraining order in the dead of night, managed to stage a mission to free a captive, got laid, broke up, etc., etc., etc., all in one night? So the real problem with terrorists is that they're manics? But wait, what about our side? They did all that and more in the same period of time. Shhheeeeessssssshhhhhhh. You'd have to be Bipolar or ADHD to apreciate this program.

                            What really got me was the episode in which Malwan (or whatever) got a judge to issue a restraining order to keep his agent from being interrogated literally within minutes of the guys capture. Was that section written by Dubya or Dick?

                            Where did they find the unemployed Nixon impersonator to play the Vice President?
