Well, I happen to enjoy Joel.

Not everyone can be a cocky young Calgarian, you know - I mean really - there wouldn't be enough cowboy boots to go around!

All you need to do is move west, young man! But not too far west, the crazie commies hog the cold and dreary pacific coast.

Yonge and Spadina basically, just north of Forest Hill.

            Yonge and Spadina run parallel.

I used to live around Yonge and St. Clair. Nice neighbourhood.

Doh - I meant Eglinton and Spadina. I was going to say Yonge and Eglinton and decided to be more specific.

Yonge and St. Cath is nice - even shorter ride downtown than me.

We're thinking of buying in the King West area next year sometime.

                Toronto sucks.

The only city in Ontario worth living in or visiting is Ottawa. Thats a fact.

Please, Ottawa is worse. The amount of politicians and press is sickening, not to mention the utterly retarded Ottawa tourism ads they show at the beginning of EVERY movie.

Nobody tours Ottawa because it's boring.

Ottawa is fine to visit, but not for long, or for living. It has next to zero night life - everything shuts down mid-evening. Aside from the nice market and the Senators, it's a dead zone. Bunch of boring bureaucrats.

At least Toronto has the Bata Shoe Museum, nothing in Ottawa can compete with that.

I must also voice my EXTREME DISPLEASURE with a certain Madeline King (alderman) who wants to shut down the red mile in Calgary.

They killed Electric Avenue a long time and now they wanna kill 17th Ave. F*cking boring old politicians.

Nothing in the world can compete with that. The Met? The Louvre? The British Museum? Please - that's amateur hour.

Really?!? That's astounding - that couldn't possible go through, could it?

Apparently some people who live nearby had noise complaints.

Madeline King (who is an old British hag) also says that with all these bars/pubs/clubs/restaurants all so close together, crime will rise!

Back in the 80s Electric Avenue was the "red mile", with Flames fans spilling into the streets, etc. It became too popular so the city effectively shut it down with new bylaws and zoning and taxes.

                                Long live the red mile.
