Calgary didn't blow it last season, they game from nowhere, squeezed into the playoffs, and made it to game 7.
Edmonton blew it, they got eliminated nice and early.
Hockey is great, but the Oilers are not.

Do you live in some other dimension? The Flames have been red hot (no pun intended) since November 1st. They are doing great.
Their offense is not great, but that doesn't matter if you can win the games with smart playing. The excuse about having healthy defense in the playoffs is a crock, the same is true with forwards.

About to overtake the lead in the toughest division in hockey is great, especially given the abysmal start Calgary had. We were below .500 for a while there until we got our sh*t straight.

Pittsburgh has more offense than Calgary, look how well they're doing.
When will people realize it's not just about scoring goals? The game is far more complex than what shows up on score sheets at the end of the game. Once you realize that, you'll be better off at appreciating hockey.

Scoring is part of the game, it's not all. Tampa Bay didn't win just because of scoring, they won because of a bad call that invalidated one of the Flames' goals.
