Calgary plays an aggressive, fast, and tough game. It's hard on teams, especially given the thin air way up here in Calgary.

Calgary is tied with Florida and Minnesota as being the second worst offensive team in the league behind St. Louis.
The Flames are lucky to have Kiprusoff. With mediocre or bad goaltending, Calgary would be sunk.

Calgary's record speaks for itself...#1 in the NW, the most competitive division in the NHL, with an 8-2-1 record in intra-division play. Second in the west, on pace to pass Detroit fairly quickly to be #1 in the West.
