      • Wait...you're chanting "USA!" because a bunch of Canadians are getting paid exhorbitant amounts of money by Americans to play hockey?

        • but they are making money for American franchises

and really, the NHL is the pro sport where you make the least amount of money compared with baseball, NFL football and basketball...

leave it to Canadians to play the sport where you make the least amount of money

          • Now you're blaming Canadian athletes for the poor taste and mistaken priorities of American consumers?

                  Thanks.

Ok, Krazy, you're next! You have two advantages right off the start - more games than my (present) roster (37 to 33), and the fact that I'll be having to find subs for two goalies games since the Flames only play once this week. However, that also means you'll only be getting one game from Iginla.

                  • Well, I believe I have picked up the two necessary goalie games. Even better, they both play tomorrow, and versus bottom-dwelling teams (Esche vs. Cls & Sanford vs. Pit). If it works out well I'll be able to drop them for offensive players for the remainder of the week.

Well, America is a diverse country. Only the crackers enjoy that "sport".

But I wouldn't expect a Canadian to understand diversity.

and having a few frenchies doesn't count

                        • Kipper was the defensive player of the week again this week.

Kiprusoff recorded an 0.47 goals-against average and a .983 save percentage in two appearances to bag the defensive prize over Martin Biron of the Buffalo Sabres (2-0, 1.97 GAA), Henrik Lundqvist of the New York Rangers (2-0, 1.33 GAA) and Curtis Joseph of the Phoenix Coyotes (2-0, 1.49 GAA).

Kiprusoff stopped all 37 shots he faced in regulation and overtime during in a 1-0 shootout loss at Philadelphia on Tuesday and followed that up with 20 saves in a 2-1 overtime win over the Ottawa Senators on Saturday.
