I am kind of the opinion that his suspension should have gone longer, cuz i dont really believe he was upset about missing a locked out season or European league hockey.

I don't feel myself sufficiently hooked into the emotional ethernet to be able to say one way or the other.

I do think that what happened to Moore is tragic, but I have to wonder if Bertuzzi intended such harm. I take note that a judge has ruled on the matter, and imprisonment was not thought appropriate.

Why should his livelihood be further effected? Especially when the proper continuation of retribution will be money that he earns that he then pays as restitution to Mr. Moore. To do that, he will have to be able to ply his trade.

I'll be happy to have Bert back with the Canucks, and I don't expect him to run into problems again. As for the Canucks being better with or without Bert, the playoffs are all about clutching and grabbing, as Calgary amply demonstrated. They needed Bert's style to break through, and even without him, pushed Calgary to the brink of elimination.

Young goalie (25 years old) with a promising improving track record. Got him for a seventh round conditional 2006 draft pick from Colorado...a steal IMO.

Kipper was also a steal from San Jose...maybe Daryl has a good eye for good, underutilized goalies.

Maple Leafs-Lindros talks stalled

For some unknown reason, I've been accidentally passed some pretty somewhat confidential information, but part of the terms that team Lindros wants in the contract is as follows:

1. The Maple Leafs must have a bottle of Bonnie Lindros' breast-milk on the bench at all times with Eric's name on it.
2. Lindros can play Fri and Saturday night games only if he is home by 11pm.
3. Eric's pre-game meal must consist of PB & J with the crusts cut off, a pint of chocolate milk, and a note telling him how proud Bonnie (MOM) is of him.
4. A "Maple Leaf Mom" magnet for the back of the family Caravan.

I believe it. But somehow, i think Lindros and the Leafs were made for each other (other than the fact that both are from Toronto )

Especially if they end up paying Lindros twice what he's worth and he turns in a mediocre season at best. It's just the Maple Leafs' way.
