I am not sure if destroying the bomber's family house works, but if it works, I see no problem with this.

To be honest, most of the problems that we have with terrorists are due to the fact that we approach them with half-assedness. We aren't sure what do about them - kill them, or try to make them realize the truth.

A very solid step, IMHO, would be to decide the **** up on this question.

We were all resistance fighters after the war ended...
So they voted the "moffenhoeren" out?

Or do you mean Band of Brothers?

What is moffen? The food, sauerkraut?

No, I have nothing constructive to say about the matter at hand.

Towards the end of the war the Germans were geting their officers whacked virtually everywhere, but I believe your thinking about an incident that occurred in Czeckoslovakia. It wasn't an officer, it was the politico appointed to govern the occupied territory, a high ranking Nazi named Heydrich. The Germans retaliated by destroying ther nearest village and its inhabitants on the assumption that the assassins must have come from the village. They were wrong however, their man had been whacked by some Czeck ex-soldiers working for the Brits. They had been secretly inserted into the area and had had no connection with the town. Incidently, they may have inspired Ian Fleming to create the "double 0 agents" in his writing.

Seems Zoidberg's comment is spot on then, fascist. In addition, why don't we start locking up people who might be future criminals? It would save us the trouble of waiting until they've committed a crime.

Your idea is neither radical nor new. It is infact a quite reactionary idea, and has been around as long as there have been tyrants.

We should scour the Koran for some loophole ritual thing that can be done to one's corpse to prevent you from going to heaven. Then pick up the suicide bomber's parts with a tweezer and do that.
That's why the Jews would put pigs in the buses, so that if the bomber blew up the buses, he would get pig remains all over himself and his victims.

As for holding the family responsible, the way I see it is that if a person is not old enough to stand up for themselves, the family becomes responsible for the actions of the person.

Suicide bombers are usually young, but old enough to be an adult and to be responsible for their own actions, so you wouldn't be able to apply the same rationale. However, someone had to order the bomber, and to organise the bombers, and that's the person who ought to be held responsible. You get that person, arrest him, and solve a considerable portion of it. The problem is tracking down these people in the first place.

              It wouldn't be kosher.
