I think Liverpool want him, Benetiez doesn't though. I think he's afraid his presence dictates a certain style of play that he's trying to get away from.

Why the hell Arsenal don't sign him I don't know? Fair go, Henry got 2 last night, but normally he's picking the ball up 20 yards out and having to wait for the midfield to get into the box. Him and Owen would be a cracking partnership.

AH, good distinction! The Board want him... he'll sell a TON of shirts for one. Benitez, who has final say, doesn't. Owen is more of a traditional English player who thrives more on the long ball than the European build up the attack style.

Well, I can see a club like ManU not wanting him (which player goes to the bench?). But Arsenal? Bergkamp is getting up in years. And Everton did try, but Owen turned them down.

I was speaking to a "man in the know" at Old Trafford and he reckons that there is absolutey no money for new player. Take that with a pinch of salt, but ManU have been a bit quiet on the transfer front.

Everton, well.....thats an easy one, maybe when his kness have gone and he's the wrong side of 35!

Perhaps, but you haven't heard anything from ManU or Arsenal or anyone else saying they'd like to have him or something. I'd imagine something would leak to the media.
