Simple, call her up, tell her that you were thinking about her and thought "Hey, I should call her" so you did and then tell her you'd like to go and have a drink with her. If she says yes, half the work is done cuz you know shes atleast "interested" in seeing you and you dont have old friends keeping you from talking to her all night and playing yo game. If she says no, no time waisted with old friends you dont really want to see again, cuz if you did, you would have called them a while ago.

Wow - i stewed for over 10 years with that one - i should have made a move sooner. But like Pekka is saying sometimes it can be difficult, and there was a simular situ in many ways(i first met her through a buddy who was seeing her - so off limits for the first 3 years i knew her).

We are still great friends, and i'm in the best relationship(with my current gf) i've ever had - so i can't complain.

But even so..........'what if........' i'll never know.

No you didn't hit my ego. You are just not telling me anything new and it turns the knife in my heart.

Girls are not cryptonite to me, but this particular girl is definitely me achilles heel. I will call her. Yes I will. I just need to get over making up things to worry and call.. I just try to prepare, get more things done, make myself better etc, but I know that way I'll never call. There will be a point where I need to say screw it and just call, I'm now good enough already. good enough meaning that I can say I did my best, it didn't work out. That's acceptable. But even if it doesn't work out for simple reasons, I will blame myself for not being the best I was getting in it. Kind of like going ot the Olympics, I want to k now I did everything as best as I knew how and gave my all, if I finish last, then it's OK. But if I finish second, and I didn't push it all the way, I'll beat myself fo rthe rest of my life.

It's only head games now. I'm a worrier by nature anyway, so I know there always will be worries I just need to cut the act and call at some point, preferrably sooner than later.
