The sad part is that CBS will likely look at Newsweek in envy when the wrist slaps they suffered aren't even handed out.
Yes. At least The New York Times got rid of Jayson Blair back in the day when the frauds became too obvious. But I guess since people's attention span is so short, we get the media we deserve in some twisted way.

I can't help it if you can't read. Torture is directly related to the topic at hand, because of past incidents. Other people seemed to have voluntarily joined in to the discussion, by the way. If you can't grasp the interrelationship of it and how it complements the subject, that's your own fault. The silly Framing game is getting played out though.

Oh, very nice of you to tell me that I'm not allowed to have an opinion different than yours and that you are representative for all others.
Reverse projection. Nice tactic. Sorry, doesn't work though.

If you want to discuss torture, fine with me, but that isn't the topic of this thread.
      Another bad framing attempt.

I spotted an actual opinion of yours a few posts up. As rare as Big Foot, but I do believe it was there.

Was it traumatic? Did your counselor help you through the ordeal. I'm proud of you DinoDoc, you're on your way to becoming a man!! Maybe...

Nope, the topic is journalists release unconfirmed story - what are the impacts of this - why did they do it.

Yes, what are the impacts, a bunch of people died, why were they so angry.

And why Newsweek should be brought up on charges for doing the equivalent of screaming fire in a crowded theatre.

                    WTF!

Newsweek is totally plagiarizing me, and mine WAS FICTION. a) i want to get paid now. b) I'm angry.

Try stand up in Kansas and say that you use the bible as toilet paper.

                        More like:

                        1) Go to Kansas, arrest a bunch of innocent people, without charging them, hold them for 3 years

                        2) Go to Nebraska, imprison a bunch of people, torture them and then distribute photos of it

                        3) Go to Kansas, stand up and say you use the Bible as toilet paper

You don't have to go through step 1 and 2 to get the reaction - it's religion and thereby defies any kind of logic or prehistory.

                            DUH

A friend of mine was doing a movie shoot in India and had to be escorted out of the country by Indian military because there was a riot because some idiot started a rumor that they were ripping out pages of the Koran.

HOWEVER, the reaction is INTENSIFIED because of those things that had already happened. People are way less willing to cut you slack if you have a history of doing stupid things. That's all about credibility, which we are finding less and less of these days.

Ah, we're now finally entering a field with a little more relevance to the thread topic.

Great, somehow I always knew you could do it.

Thanks for the pointless post though.
