      bye, Elok.

      thats lonely nerd talk

No, not if one really feels that way.

Personally, I don't think so, because I don't have any real hangups about sex: I don't consider it some worldshattering decision. But if you feel so, that's definetly the logical conclusion.

its a self defeating attitude though. no one is ever going to meet those standards because the person who has those standards in this situation is no prize themselves.

Not if you work on yourself at the same time.

Personally, I think that with the proper amount of work, everyone can be smoking.

            You asked?

That's not a man's way. I tended to just plant one on them. It does work. Mind you, our women are not very sophisticated.

as for talking about favorite beers, women dont really care about that.

They're just jealous, Ben. They've never experienced unction-lube...whoops, I said too much.

Yeah, I'm back. It started out kind of awkward because we weren't clear on where we'd meet so each of us thought the other'd stood him/her up or forgotten, for like twenty minutes. But we stayed talking for like a half-hour after dinner was over, and it was fun. I'm not sure if I should call this good or bad; it didn't last long, but she asked me to go to a play tommorrow. And she looked pretty freaking good too. For a first date it went really well, conversation came easy considering the circumstances. I think. I've got no grounds for comparison, after all.

if she asked you to go to a play tomorrow, I'd say it went pretty good.

Now all you have to do is sit through a boring play.

                              Congrats.

Thank you. But I first suggested the play when I asked her out; I don't even know what it's about but I saw one of the actresses in MacBeth a few weeks ago and she was awesome, so I figured it was worth a gamble. But she thought her roommate wanted to go with her, so she suggested just dinner, and now her roommate doesn't seem interested anymore...and none of this matters, but the play's one I wanted to see. Something called Tartuffe, by Moliere.
