Honestly, I can't say what I'd want then.
                  a) It must be horrible to "be there" and not being able to communicate - I think I wouldn't want that. Yet I've read an interview with an ex-PVA guy who said: Never give up a patient and who claimed it all depends on how people care about you. What if I find out he's right while being in that state and can't tell people to stop?
b)If my brain is as damaged as Terry's brain seems to be, I won't care anyway, yet I have severe problems with euthanasia being given to handicapped persons. I mean, quit aiding breathing seems to be OK, but how many people would die without devices to feed them?
                  So, don't know.

why should people who can't feed themselves live? (I'm talking permanently, not a short stay in the hospital). And babies count as a temporary condition.

I wouldn't want to live that way.

Next question: why should people who can't survive by themselves - because of whatever reason - live? Fine, let's leave mentally handicapped persons on their own and see what happens. Why should we help people with a permanent heart-error who are only able to keep it going through an artificial device?
Bad criterium for defending this euthanasia - there are way better reasons out there.

                        no there aren't

There are many able people who can't survive by themselves. it's called welfare. No one actually goes out and hunts food by themselves. I certainly don't.

                        I can't survive by myself.

That's exactly what I meant. So why is it right then to argue: why saving those who can't feed themselves?
