What possible options do I have to make a little extra money on the side without having to report it and without taking up too much of my time? If I report it I lose out on some financial aid, and if it takes up too much time my grades at the university will suffer. I have ~13,000 capital to start out with, but I doubt I can afford to risk much more then a fraction of that. Sink the 13k into a stock with a good quarterly dividend. Dividends are tax deducatable so you won't have to report it. Just make sure to get a stock with good fundamentals.Comment
