If I'm going to do a mentorship this summer, should I apply at the NIH or the Naval Research Laboratory? I'm more interested in the computer and physics stuff at the NRL, but I'm just as experienced in the bio stuff and it may be easier to get in at the NIH.

The nation's first Franciscan university, St. Bonaventure University is a community committed to transforming the lives of our students inside and outside the classroom, inspiring in them a lifelong commitment to service and citizenship. In 2020, St. Bonaventure was named the #2 regional university value in New York and #3 in the North by U.S. News and World Report.

You can't go wrong with MIT. Or Princeton. Or Cal-Tech. Or Stanford. Or 'most any name school, for that matter.

Where should I go to get an MBA?
Like Kuci, what kind of marketing/advertising you want to do will determine which school is best for you.

However, I will say that if you have the choice between continuing your schooling or working in your chosen profession, I would (almost) always choose the work experience: nothing beats it. Nothing.

There is one thing that beats it: continuing your schooling and working in your chosen profession with the biggest player in that profession.

But Bill Gates chose neither... and look where it got him.

Actually, you only have to find as much proof as those who claim that he doesn't exist.

Since you can't prove a negative, they can't prove that God doesn't exist.

Therefore, since you can't prove that God doesn't exist, you have to assume that he might. And if you believe that he might, he might as well exist.

Conclusion: God exists because you can't prove that he doesn't.

Agathon, be fair: he was required to come to that conclusion. It's not his fault it requires flawed logic

How do I find a book club in the area? Now that I'm out of school I need a new way to meet people, and by "people" I mean "chicks," but I've concluded that engineering conferences are definitely not the way to go. So, I like books, and the ladies like books, know what I mean, wink wink, nudge nudge...
