Vermont is second rate cheese? excuse me? that would be why Cabot is considered the finest cheddar in the world, correct?
Besides, we import cheeses from europe, something midwesterners are too poor to do...

From a Mere Englander's point of view, Chicago seems the best city there is. I've always liked the idea of Texas too, they say Texan's are like Yorkshiremen (I come from Yorkshire) , and would very much like to live in one of the two when I'm older. I can imagine New york being fun,but I'd soon get fed up of the people there..

Sweet tea is disgusting. The last time I was in Atlanta I ordered "iced tea" and I naively thought they would bring me iced tea (fresh tea, ice, and a twist of lemon). Instead they brought me sweet tea; which is a tea like substance which must have had more sugar in it then tea. :barf:
I normally don't even drink soda pop because I find it to sweet and this stuff was so sweet it made me gag. It's no wonder half the people in the south are diabetic.

AT least we have real cheese in Chicago... It comes from right next door in Wisconsin. The stuff they get in New York is the stuff we don't want in the midwest
So what are you talking about... You are the guys that need to resort to Kraft
Hmm, Wisconsin cheese is ok but it lacks the "pizaz" of Californian cheese. Wisconsin makes a commodity and California has turned cheese making into an art. Wisconsin offers the same old cheddar and jack while California offers aged, smoked cheddar and jalipeno peper jack cheese along with dozens of other verities most mid-western cheese makers just don't offer.
Besides good cheese comes from happy cows and how can a cow be happy when she's up to her ears in a snow drift? Californian cows never have to worry about stuff like that.
GePap - you're being way too stringent in your definition of what is and isn't proper on a pizza. I've been to Italy, and even there different regions make different pizzas. The whole wonderfulness of a pizza is its adaptive nature. Speaking as someone immensely proud of their italian heritage, I have to say that the best pizza I ever tasted came from, wait for it! A SQUARE SLICE!

Ah, another with no taste . Sweet tea is iced tea which is supersaturated with sugar. God's sweet drink. It is Ambrosia on Earth.

It's good, yes, but injecting tea with beaucoup de sucre is hardly an intensive task - I do it all the time.
