Psychology deals with observable, repetable behavior. Hidden Bias is too much a subject for the inner realm of the mind to make it a good subject for scientific study.
I did the fat test(had done race test before) and remembered my main problem with it. For the first part of the test, the minority group and good are put on the same side. For the second part of the test, the majority group and good are poot on the same side. However, what the test doesn't take into account is that people might simply become better at taking the test once they get further into it because they are more used to it. That would cause people to make to get more right on the second part of the test, which could artifically produce results showing a preference for the majority group. The test fails to take into account how used to taking the test you are in scoring the result.
Moreover, two of the words "Peace" and "War" should not have been used. Many people right now are in favor of a war on Iraq and are annoyed at peace protestors- this could interfere with them automatically associating peace as good and war as bad, even if they ultimately would like their to be more peace and less war.
